# ViewPeek

ViewPeek is operated by Dynamic Foundries, a French SASU registered
in Paris (RCS Paris 102 801 206, registered 2026-03-24). Monitoring
agents and storage run on EU infrastructure in France.

## What it does

ViewPeek watches your websites and infrastructure from the public
internet. Four monitor types are supported:

- **Uptime** — HTTP/HTTPS health checks at configurable intervals
  (1, 5, 10, 15, 30, 60 minutes), with pause + auto-pause-on-flood
- **SSL certificate expiration** — track all your certificates and
  alert you 30, 14, and 7 days before they expire
- **Ping** — ICMP latency and packet loss
- **Sitemap validation** — fetch and validate sitemap.xml, detect
  broken or missing URLs

Alerts are delivered via email, Slack incoming webhook, Discord
webhook, or generic JSON webhook. Notification channels are
org-scoped and available on every plan including free. A "send test"
button on the create form lets you verify a channel before saving.

ViewPeek also publishes **public status pages**. Each organisation can
publish a read-only page on a viewpeek.com/p/<slug> URL. You choose
which monitors appear — nothing is exposed until you opt it in per
monitor. Each exposed monitor shows current status, 30-day uptime, and
a 90-day day-strip. You can publish **incidents** (with an
acknowledge/resolve timeline) and schedule **maintenance windows** that
mute alerts and show planned work instead of an outage.
